Winter Motorcycle Trip in Spain riding BMW R1200GS

December in England cold and rainy so we headed to Spain rented a couple of BMW R1200GS motorcycles and met Chrus600 for some spirited riding on Spanish roads! Summer is usually the season for roadtrips but can the winter motorcycle trip become a regular feature in the calender. Southern Spain has good weather even in winter which explains my motorbike manufacturers base their press launches here. Andalusia is a great place for a motorbike trip. Read more…

Switzerland – Alps Motorcycle Heaven

Part of our epic europe alps motorcycle roadtrip in summer of 2015 on my KTM 990 SuperDuke R. Kinda forgot how much I love Switzerland! Why it needed me to tour the country on a motorcycle to remind me…who knows. We were in the Swiss Alps on our motorbikes for no more than 10 hours but all the nostalgia of my childhood summers there came flooding back. From swimming in the fresh fast flowing Rhine Read more…

This blog will be a day-by-day account of our adventure to ride the highest roads in the world by motorcycle. Our trusty steeds of choice will be none other than the famous Royal Enfield Bullet, riding anything else on these roads would be sacrilege. Where is Ladakh, you ask. It’s a Read more…

Mendola Pass: Italy’s Best Supermoto Road

Imagine living in a town 10 minutes from a road that rides like the perfectly designed supermoto track. For the residents of Bolzano, in northern Italy, this dream for most is a reality. Rising nearly 1,400 meters from the valley floor, Mendola (or Mendel for German speakers) twists and turns for nearly 15km before reaching the quaint ski resort. Riding it countless times one summer had me thinking it might be the best supermoto road in Read more…

Furka, Grimsel & Susten: The Swiss Holy Trinity

Speak to any biker who’s toured Europe and they’ll tell you the reward for crossing the Swiss border is either a €1,000 fine or access to the finest roads on the continent. Both are true but with a little care you can certainly avoid the former. The three pass loop of Furka, Grimsel & Susten is easily done in a day with included playtime. If passing through Switzerland, it’s best done from Ticino in the Read more…
