Ever wondered what happens when you and your friends take a 3,000 mile (5,000 km) epic motorbike trip through Europe? Well we did that and these were the highlights from that awesome adventure! You may think it’s just the roads and the bikes that make an epic trip…it’s all the more better when you’ve got some awesome friends to share it with. Riding roads that you’ve only dreamed of like the Furka, Grimsel & Susten passes in the Swiss Alps.

Although it rained pretty heavy at some points, it’s the best motorcycle tour I’ve done to date. The average mileage per day was pushing past 250 miles (400km) per day while riding about eight hours per day and often getting to our destinations past sunset. Tiring at some points, yes, but boring…definitely not. European roads have some absolutely stunning views and many have little traffic!

What makes a brilliant motorcycle video? We’d probably start with crystal clear footage, stunning scenery and clever editing. If you agree, you’re going to love this brilliant video of a motorcycle tour through Europe.

Rob Slade, Adventure Bike Rider

Why is this video here? Well it’s to remind me of an epic motorcycle trip, call it my own motorcycle diaries, and also try and get other riders to do the same. I get you, it’s kinda expensive embark on a road trip like this but the memories and good times will make you forget about that temporary hole in your pocket.

Making this journey by motorcycle made me come closer to understanding the experience Charlie & Ewan had on their Long Way Round and Long Way Down moto adventures. If you pack as much as we did within 10 days – France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. You’ll find your eyes are overloaded from trying to absorb the spectacular scenery! Interested in making our own epic motorbike trip heck out my YouTube for ideas!

Next time I do this trip, it’s definitely going to be at a slower pace. I only managed to fit one afternoon of swimming in the beautiful Lake Como. So I’d definitely return to the Italian lakes to hangout on the beach for a few days. Then there’s the Alps…to enjoy high Alpine passes your bike need to be free from luggage! So much to think of for next summer’s trip…

Hi, I just stumbled upon your blog/video some six weeks ago. Since then I don’t know how many times I’ve revisited it. You see I love doing motorcycle trips. Last year I did some of the best Swiss passes on my own, 7 days riding down from Brussels where I live and back again. This year im going to ride 4000km in the French Alps with my riding buddies. But right know the weather is lousy, it rains, there’s sleet and the roads are covered in salt, mind you we still ride our bikes but when it feels like you cannot wait for June to arrive and set on at sunset heading west than south following the taillights of your mates, it’s then when I watch your road trip videos again and again just to remind me of how intense joy of living and friendship feel on two wheels.
